Christ Church "Being Parents Together" Workshop, Saturday, May 16, 9 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Welcoming children into the family can bring great joy to new parents, but also brings challenges that can be draining to a marriage. Couples who develop relationship skills for partnering together while caring for young children will build a strong marriage and a healthy family culture. As a community that values healthy families and marriages, Christ Church invites parents of young children (ages 0-5) to attend the workshop, “Being Parents Together”, Saturday May 16 from 9-12 pm at our Oakland location on Park Boulevard.

This workshop, led by licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Gottman educator, Jeanne James of Berkeley Christian Counselors, will help couples explore ways of building better emotional connections with one another and managing conflict. This workshop is designed for couples so we ask that both parents attend together.

CHILDCARE IS SOLD OUT. We do not have anymore space for kiddos at this event. You're welcome to arrange childcare at your home and come as a couple. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
